Speed, as measured by Google
PageSpeed Insights screenshot from 03/09/2026 — performance, accessibility, best practices, SEO. Run the test yourself: the result varies from one run to the next.
The starting point
- ▸Thirty works, no page to show them or sell them.
- ▸A Spanish decoration market where the top places belong to catalogues with thousands of references.
- ▸No way to order a framed, delivered work.
What was built
- ▸A full shop: thirty works, sizes, framing and delivery. The logo was designed for him.
- ▸This is an e-commerce site, and e-commerce is the most contested market there is: you are up against catalogues, marketplaces and advertising budgets, not fellow tradespeople.
- ▸A home page built around the wall of his works — that is what people come to see.
- ▸The site in several languages, with the English page fixed on 30 August (it was serving Spanish).
- ▸The sitemap cleaned: it was declaring .html pages that no longer existed in that form.
What it produced
- ▸Live on 23 August 2026. First Google appearance on 24 August — the next day.
- ▸As of 1 September: shown 52 times, 9 different searches, no clicks yet.
- ▸Average position: 52.1 — page five. That is the truth, and it is not dressed up.
- ▸The searches that find him come from Spain, Mexico, Panama and the Dominican Republic.
The searches that bring it up, and where it lands
- 🔍“cuadros para hoteles” (paintings for hotels) — 46th, shown 21 times
- 🔍“arte para hoteles” — 76th
- 🔍“cuadros decorativos para hoteles” — 37th
- 🔍“arte para hoteles costa blanca” — 40th
What this case proves — and what it does not
This case is published for what it teaches, not for what it flatters. The cause was found on 2 September: on “cuadros para hoteles”, the top places are held by Etsy, Pinterest and catalogues with thousands of references online since 1987. An artist with thirty works does not win that search — he wins the ones a catalogue cannot serve: his name, his style, his region, a unique piece. That is where the work restarts.
