The starting point

  • A company known by word of mouth, invisible on Google.
  • Valais: a market where the customer searches “plâtrier peintre” and lands on directories.
  • Nothing online to say what the company actually does, or where it works.

What was built

  • Nine pages, each on one real job: plastering, painting, façades, insulation, interior renovation.
  • The trade written in the customer’s words, not in construction jargon.
  • The areas named one by one — Sion, Sierre, Martigny — never stacked into lists of towns.
  • A site at 99/100 desktop performance: the 31 August measurement found four layout shifts caused by the fonts; they were removed.
  • Measurement kept up: every search that brings it up is logged in Search Console.

What it produced

  • Shown 1,507 times on Google since 23 June 2026 — 75 clicks.
  • 105 different searches bring it up: 47 on page one, 28 in the top three.
  • Average position: 21.1 — page two on average, with a solid share already at the top.
  • Click-through rate 5.0%: when it shows up, people click.
The searches that bring it up, and where it lands
  • 🔍“acj renovation” — 2nd, 16 clicks
  • 🔍“acj” — 4th
  • 🔍“renovation” (the bare word) — 7th
  • 🔍“platrier peintre” — 37th, shown 31 times — that is where the room to grow is

What this case proves — and what it does not

This case shows a small, well-built site holding its own against much larger ones: nine pages produce 105 searches. It also shows the limit: the searches where it is still far down (“plâtrier peintre”, “rénovation salle de bain Valais”) are exactly the ones with no page of their own. The next stretch of work is there, nowhere else.
